Out of the ashes of the Twin Towers emerged a group of survivors. They had all been to the margins of death and back again, but one survivor in particular stood out among them all: Tania Head. Tania's miraculous story of crawling through carnage on the 78th floor of the South Tower is one of true courage and a remarkable will to survive. Her story quickly traveled through the survivor community and, in 2004, she became president of the World Trade Center Survivors' Network, tirelessly fighting to give the survivors support and prominence in a post-9/11 landscape. But there was one problem with Tania's story: Tania Head was never in the Twin Towers of September 11, 2001 and not a single detail of her epic tale of suffering was true. -- (C) Meredith Vieira Productions

Nelly (Felicity Jones), a happily-married mother and schoolteacher, is haunted by her past. Her memories, provoked by remorse and guilt, take us back in time to follow the story of her relationship with Charles Dickens (Ralph Fiennes) with whom she discovered an exciting but fragile complicity. Dickens - famous, controlling and emotionally isolated within his success - falls for Nelly, who comes from a family of actors. The theatre is a vital arena for Dickens - a brilliant amateur actor - a man more emotionally coherent on the page or on stage, than in life. As Nelly becomes the focus of Dickens' passion and his muse, for both of them secrecy is the price, and for Nelly a life of "invisibility".(c) Sony Classics

Julia (Bel (C)n Rueda) and her sister, Sara, have both inherited a medical condition that is slowly robbing them of their eyesight, with stress severely aggravating the condition. HIGH TECH, LOW LIFE follows the journey of two of China's first citizen reporters as they travel the country - chronicling underreported news and social issues stories. Armed with laptops, cell phones, and digital cameras they develop skills as independent one-man news stations while learning to navigate China's evolving censorship regulations and avoiding the risk of political persecution.

The film follows 57-year-old "Tiger Temple," who earns the title of China's first citizen reporter after he impulsively documents an unfolding murder and 27-year-old "Zola" who recognizes the opportunity to increase his fame and future prospects by reporting on sensitive news throughout China. From the perspective of vastly different generations, Zola and Tiger Temple must both reconcile an evolving sense of individualism, social responsibility and personal sacrifice. The juxtaposition of Zola's coming-of-age journey from produce vendor to internet celebrity, and Tiger Temple's commitment to understanding China's tumultuous past provides an alternate portrait of China and of news-gathering in the 21st century. Oingo Boingo fans and midnight movie mavens will love this bizarre black-and-white feature packed with music, madness, and members of the Elfman clan. The story revolves around the Hercules family, who live in a house that just happens to hide a secret entrance to the Sixth Dimension in the basement. When daughter Frenchy (Marie-Pascale Elfman) skips school one afternoon, she finds herself irresistibly drawn to the forbidden door, and winds up a prisoner in this alternate world. King Fausto (Herve Villechaize), the diminutive leader of the Sixth Dimension, is enamored with the beautiful young Frenchy and keeps her in the same cell as his favorite concubines, despite the disapproval of Queen Doris (Susan Tyrrell). Frenchy's brother, Flash (Phil Gordon), follows her into the Forbidden Zone with Gramps (Hyman Diamond) in tow, intending to save her, but they too are captured and must call school chum Squeezit (Toshiro Baloney, aka Matthew Bright) for help. Squeezit tries to assist, but ends up captured and decapitated by Satan (Danny Elfman), though this development doesn't keep his disembodied noggin from flying about and informing King Fausto that the Queen is planning to dispose of his beloved Frenchy. The appearance of the King's first wife and the kidnapping of his topless daughter further confuse matters, but everything is wrapped up neatly with an elaborate song and dance number at the conclusion. ~ Fred Beldin, Rovi

Womb tells the story of the cross-generational love affair between Rebecca (Eva Green) and Thomas (Matt Smith), two childhood friends who, once re-united, became instant lovers - only to be separated again by Thomas' accidental death. After contemplating suicide, Rebecca finds consolation in the idea of cloning Matt back to life. Although society at large hasn't fully accepted the idea of human cloning, and often ostracizes those who have been cloned, Rebecca decides to forge ahead with her plans to give birth to her lost love - literally. Living in an old and isolated house, Thomas grows up believing his father died in an accident - and she never mentions cloning to him. Notwithstanding their secret, Rebecca and Thomas lead an almost normal life during his first years. But as the years go by, Rebecca seems less and less inclined to deal (or accept) the complexities of her decision - and eventually, Thomas grows to the exact image of her beloved man. One day, however, Rebecca's secret is unveiled, and Thomas' inexplicable urges have to be dealt with. Fully embracing the film's controversial and polemical content, Olive Films gave carte blanche to Chicago-based designer Andrew Sobol to design the film's US poster. The result is an image as dark and seductive as the film itself
