Sundowning is the portrayal of Shannon, a young woman who has lost her cognition and memory. She is content, but lacks any recollection of her past, her family, or her own identity. She lives in pacified near-isolation, sharing an apartment with Susan, her gentle yet enigmatic caregiver. Initially accepting of her relationship with Susan, Shannon eventually grows suspicious of her caretaker's control and intentions. Unable to rely on her memory and subjectivity, Shannon grapples for insight into her present condition and Susan's role in her life. The restrained pace of the film allows room to explore the dynamics of their relationship. The depth of their experience manifests through the nuances of their strict routine. -- (C) Official Site

Ever since Adam (Jim Sturgess) and Eden (Kirsten Dunst) fell in love as teens, their bond has faced astronomical odds. The pair are separated not just by social class and a political system bent on keeping them apart, but also by a freak planetary condition: they live on twinned worlds with gravities that pull in opposite directions-he on the poverty-stricken planet below, she on the wealthy, exploitative world above. Their budding but illicit romance screeches to a tragic halt when interplanetary-border patrol agents catch them and Eden suffers an apparently fatal fall. But when, ten years later, Adam learns she is alive and working at a vast corporation whose towering headquarters connects their planets, he sets out on a dangerous quest to infiltrate the company and the upper world to reconnect with her. UPSIDE DOWN is a visually stunning romantic adventure that poses the question: what if love was stronger than gravity?(c) Millenium

Set on the last day of the school year, THE WE AND THE I follows a group of Bronx high schoolers who board a city bus on their way home. With summer break ahead of them, and feeling more liberated than usual, this broad array of kids--the cool ones, the outsiders, and everyone in between--act out as only teenagers can and, in the course of one afternoon, their friendships, rivalries, ambitions, and anxieties are revealed. Gondry workshopped the project with students at a neighborhood after-school arts program in the Bronx, and his large ensemble cast, all of them first-timers, essentially play themselves, though the script (which Gondry wrote with Jeffrey Grimshaw and Paul Proch) artfully creates a fully formed vision of the life these kids live and the future that awaits them. Though set almost entirely on the bus, Gondry enlarges the film's visual canvas with mobile phone videos, text messages, and a series of trompe l'oeil effects executed with his customary flair and inventiveness.
